Product description:

It is the dried tuber of Arisaema erubescens, Arisaema heterophyllum or Arisaema amurense Maxim of Araceae plant. Dig them in the two seasons of autumn and winter when the stem leaves wither, remove the fibil and cortex and dry them.

Characters:

It is spheroidicity, 1-2cm high and 1.5-6.5cm in diameter. The surface is off-white or light brown and smooth. The tip has sunken stem scar, dotted root scars are all around it. Some tubers have oblate-spheroidal lateral bud.Texture compact and hard to break. Fracture is white, starchy and not flat. The gas is spicy and the taste is numbing and spicy.
